Slow Days

Slow Days is a collection shaped by a season of presence, and by a world that feels increasingly heavy.

There is a lot happening right now. Political unrest, violence, families being separated, lives lost, and ongoing devastation that deeply affects people across the globe. As a mother, and as someone who holds privilege in skin tone, opportunity, and care, I feel the weight of this moment acutely. I’m trying to stay aware, to remain informed and compassionate—while also tending to what I can control.

For me, that has meant continuing to create.

This collection grew during colder months spent indoors, shared breakfasts, time in botanical gardens, quiet gallery visits, and long stretches of painting and drawing. Each design reflects active making: gathering inspiration as it unfolds, allowing creativity to exist alongside family life, routine, and reflection.

The motifs come from what naturally surrounds my creative practice: books left open, mugs still warm, plants reaching toward winter light, fruit resting on the table, and small celestial details that mark the passing of time. These everyday objects become visual anchors, gentle reminders of steadiness and care.

With a soft, thoughtful energy and a balance of organic forms and gentle geometry, Slow Days embraces warmth, texture, and intentional imperfection. The palette and patterns are designed to feel lived-in and calming, art that invites you to slow the moment, stay a little longer, and find a sense of peace where you can.
