Select creative collaborations from my time with Specialized Custom, spanning cycling apparel, Purist products and special releases. My contributions included color + trend research, storyboarding, surface pattern, original artwork, creative concepts and product storytelling.

A bold custom apparel kit designed to embody strength and edge. Forteza combines deep, inky tones with glints of gold and scattered white, like sparks against the dark. The central illustration, inspired by classic tattoo art, adds an expressive, hand-drawn feel that grounds the design in individuality and grit. Built for teams that ride with purpose and style.

01 / THE PLACES

Inspired by place: Lake water, pines, gardens, stone, sunsets + a few favorite landscapes along the way.

Starting by hand: Loose lines, leaves, flowers, movement + plenty of scribbles. I started on paper, building a library of imperfect marks that could be pulled apart, layered, recolored and eventually transformed into repeat.

A Sense of Place

Custom Surface / Color / Environment

A What happens when little squiggles become something much bigger? Created for a client’s lake house in Northern Michigan, this custom wallpaper began with hand-drawn marks, natural forms + colors pulled from places meaningful to them.

Inspired by the lake, pine trees, gardens, stone, changing light and landscapes gathered through travel, I developed three original pattern directions before refining color, scale and density through client reviews, sampling and final production.
